My daughter Cassandra and I checked on the Hive House nucs on May 2nd. I was pleasantly surprised by their progress. These are the packages that I did the "indoor hiving" with on April 7th and 9th. Note in the pictures the size of the brood pattern and the pollen around the edges. This is the most pollen collection this early that I have seen. Each nuc had 3-4 full frames of brood--much capped,a lot of eggs, and even a few drone cells in one. More bees coming Friday after being delayed for a week.
Keeper of bees.
