are up and running,Congratulations and many thanks to Nancy Osterberg and Kathleen Harter for putting it all together. Both have had successful 1st meetings. A club in the NEWBERRY area is trying to get started. If you are in that area and are interested, get in touch with Ken Kerkhoffirstname.lastname@example.org
** Passing on some information from David Payant:
Get hive plans at beesource.com or see a good construction video oncheapbeekeeping.wordpress.com If you want to buy, the cheapest I have found is Western bee supply. They went together well, no warping but not fancy like "select" grade hive bodies.
*** I will be doing another Wildflower and "Witness"
presentation next Friday-Feb. 26th at Oakwood Village 580 Cox Ave.(behind the old Bonanza restaurant) at 11:00 AM. Entrance in the back.
**** Time to get equipment ready for the spring season, read up on you favorite bee literature, and think spring.
***** Pictures were just before the current warmup. Some reports of bees buzzing! Downstate they are said to be flying.
