Monday's class had 50-70 hardy souls that braved the bone chilling cold. It is nice to see the continued interest and concern for our bees. I will post package ordering info as soon as Michelle gets the final details set. I know we will have a time and place for all to put in their order. We will have a "how to hive your package" session sometime in late March or early April..
All are welcome to attend--aspiring beekeepers, those interested in bees, and current members for a refresher and/or to bring their experience. Details are on the Superior Beekeeping Club page.
The movie and food were great. We had 40-60 people in and out for the evening and lots of bee talk. The photography in the movie was incredible and the message thoughtful. The honey auction raised enough money to pay for the movie and the room rental. Thanks to all of the contributors. The movie "More Than Honey" will be available for check out next week at the Marquette Food Co-op.
The next Superior Beekeeping Club EVENT will be Jan. 27th--Beekeeping 101 at the Peter White Public Library at 6:30 - 8:45 PM.
