* Just spoke to the Gwinn 7th grade shop class about bees. Their teacher Mr. Matthew Barbercheck has them building hives as a project and to make money for other projects.
*Thoughts now turn to putting the bees to bed for the winter. Last year it was during the 1st week of November (just before the 30" snow storm)
- sugar boards to finish
- more insulating material to cut & gather

* Will try to overwinter the Children's Museum Observation Hive. Landon will bring them out sometime next week. He has done a great job keeping them alive and well this summer.
*November 11th Bee Club gathering at the Ore Dock - potluck and honey auction. Come join the conversation - watch for more info from Michelle.
*The Hive House--what a difference a bit of time makes.
